UK Housing Minister Matthew Pennycook has pledged to crack down on the property management sector, labelling it a “Wild West”.

Under new proposals, managing agents will be required to disclose service charges, and meet minimum qualifications. The reform aims to protect over 5 million leaseholders across England and Wales from exploitation and confusion.
